About our Club
Based in Devonport, on Tasmania's North West Coast, the Rotary Club of Devonport South-East Inc. is a member of Tasmanian Rotary District 9830.
Founded in 1970, and one of four clubs operating in the local area, the club today remains actively engaged in the community through its fundraising activities for local, national and international causes; local projects; and its engagement with school communities.
The club celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2010 and continues to make a significant contribution to the local community through projects such as:
• The John Palmer Walking Track
• The "Created from Chaos" geological trail
• Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Avenue
• Annual Children's Film Show
• and Charity Golf Day
An active dual gender club, the Rotary Club of Devonport South-East is a small, intimate and informal club, comprised of local business and community representatives.
Meetings are held on a Tuesday at 6.15pm for 6.30pm at the Edgewater Hotel in East Devonport. Visiting Rotarians (and their partners) and new members are always welcome.
